Terms and conditions for EOI (Expression of Interest) for Overseas Pharmacist
P2P Recruitment is an Australian-owned pharmacy recruitment, training and consulting agency connecting overseas pharmacists with pharmacies across Australia. We specialise in the placement of overseas pharmacists in retail community pharmacies.
The terms and conditions for applicants are outlined below and are considered accepted and effective upon registration and submission of an Expression of Interest with P2P Recruitment.
- It is the responsibility of all applicants to ensure that the information provided in the application process is true and accurate. P2P Recruitment does not warrant the accuracy of the data provided by applicants nor accept any liability for inaccuracies or omissions. However, P2P Recruitment will, at its own discretion, randomly verify information provided by applicants and check all registrations when engaging with any employer or pharmacy owner.
- All overseas pharmacist applicants agree and undertake that upon registering with P2P Recruitment all professional rights, permits, licences, authorisations, insurances, qualifications and accreditations required to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions are current and will remain up to date throughout their entire registration period with P2P Recruitment. If any are found to be incorrect the applicant will be unregistered from the P2P Recruitment database.
- The applicant consents for P2P Recruitment to pass on personal information to pharmacy owners or managers registered with the company for the purpose for which it was intended.
- The applicant consents to both P2P Recruitment and the pharmacy owners registered with P2P Recruitment to contact referees listed in their CV or résumé.
- The applicant will not approach an employer directly regarding any position discussed with P2P Recruitment or listed on the P2P Recruitment websites. P2P Recruitment will always make the first introductions.
- The applicant must notify P2P Recruitment if an employer offers to employ them in any permanent or temporary capacity. This applies if the applicant was referred to the employer by P2P Recruitment within the previous 12 months.
- Any communication regarding positions available on the P2P Recruitment website is to be kept confidential.
- P2P Recruitment reserves the right to cancel the registration of any applicant for a breach of these terms and conditions.
- P2P Recruitment reserves the right to request reference checks from current and former employers to verify the candidate's employment eligibility.
- P2P Recruitment does not act as an employer and is therefore not liable for any actions taken by the employer. Any dispute arising from a working relationship between the applicant and the employer should be resolved by the National or State industrial relations body or other suitable authority in Australia.
- P2P Recruitment reserves the right to amend or change the terms and conditions of this document for the Overseas Pharmacist Expression of Interest at its discretion.
- All applicants agree to conduct themselves professionally when dealing with P2P Recruitment, the Pharmacy Owner, the Hiring Manager or any other authorised representative of the Pharmacy Owner.
- All applicants agree that P2P Recruitment may, at its own discretion, seek feedback from an employer regarding their work performance once they are placed by P2P Recruitment.
- Wages are not the responsibility of P2P Recruitment and are to be arranged between the employer and the candidate prior to commencement of employment. This applies to all forms of employment including locum, full-time, part-time and casual employment.
- All applicants agree to be contacted by email, telephone, WhatsApp, SMS and Zoom during the recruitment process.
Confidentiality
- A party that receives confidential information from another party through the P2P Recruitment must maintain its confidentiality and use it solely for the purpose of the candidate's recruitment.
- Any information about the pharmacy's operations, particularly of a private and confidential nature, must not be discussed with anyone else.
Warranties, Liabilities, Indemnities and Refund
- The applicant warrants to P2P Recruitment that they have the requisite power and authority to agree to these terms and conditions and to fulfil the obligations contained within them.
- The applicant warrants that all information supplied to P2P Recruitment is true and correct.
- P2P Recruitment will have no liability whatsoever relating to any failure, delay or interruption in the performance of its website, application or services.
- Although P2P Recruitment will do its best to screen the applicant's file, registering with the company does not automatically provide employment or sponsorship for the pharmacist applicant.
- The $200 plus GST service fee is a charge for P2P Recruitment to provide a review, feedback and potential suitability assessment of the applicant's application. It is only paid once the applicant meets the eligibility criteria for P2P Recruitment to engage them as a client in assisting with their job search.
- Only after the $200 plus GST service fee has been paid will the candidate be interviewed by P2P Recruitment to further discuss their application, skills, work experience, knowledge, presentation and communication abilities. This interview will also cover eligibility for sponsorship and provide information on visa options, visa fees, recruitment and training service fees, legal fees and timelines.
- No refund will be provided to any candidate if they are not eligible to progress to the next stage of the process of engaging P2P Recruitment to find them a job offer in Australia.
